VETERANS PROGRAMS

We work with the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans to bring disabled veterans to Croton river country for fishing, cookouts, shooting sports, SxS rides, and more — activities they may not be able to enjoy without this kind of support. Outings run seasonally, with a fish fry banquet each September at American Legion Post 381.

THE WHEELCHAIR SIDEWALK PROJECT

Thanks to a Meijer grant and our 2026 Champion Sponsor, West Michigan Wildlife Association, construction is already underway. Nienhuis Construction has completed the first concrete pours, and the route is taking shape. What started as a dream is becoming something that will serve our veterans for years to come.
